We will always co-operate with the Skipper or owner, assisting in every possible way, to ensure a safe and successful passage.

The MetWorks Yacht Services are specifically designed for use by luxury craft, either sailing or motor, which cruise coastal waters and require individual weather forecast data. We can also provide weather information and forecasts during trans-oceanic passages for relocation or delivery.

We provide weather advice and essential information for planning any specific private usage or charter requirement. This enables the customer to take full advantage of the weather conditions and to identify a suitable 'weather window' to avoid severe or damaging conditions.

The Full Routeing service is recommended for vessels undertaking full oceanic crossings at normal speed.

We provide:

• Recommendations for a change of route or speed
• The latest fully detailed Synoptic Situation for the whole area.
• Wind direction and speed (Beaufort) for each of up to 5 days.
• Significant sea heights.
• Swell conditions and direction.
• Details of tropical cyclones, ice limits or other significant weather features which may affect or concern the customer.

The yacht is monitored on passage and notification is sent if any variants fall outside pre-determined limits.
